My primary goal is to nurture the love of music in all my students!
The Music Tree Piano Studio offers private lessons in classical and contemporary piano, piano theory, and aural comprehension to children and adults of all levels. Professional training is available for the people who are preparing for the ABRSM, RCM, National Piano Guild Exam, NYSSMA, and competitions at all levels in New City, NY.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Born in South Korea, pianist Suji Lee began to play the piano at the age of 5. She earned her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in piano performance from Keimyung University in South Korea, and she came to New York to study under Mr. Phillip Kawin, graduating from the
Manhattan School of Music with Professional Studies. To pursue her passion for teaching, she also continued to study in Teachers College in Columbia University.
Ms. Lee has won the first prize both from Keimyung University Music Competition and the Concerto Competition by Daegu Symphony Orchestra. She also received the Best Teachers Award from Korea Radio Broadcasting in New York. Ms. Lee actively appears on numerous stages as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist, and she is also a part of multiple ongoing concert projects: the Piano Chamber Music Series, the Sunday Afternoon Concert Series in the Tenafly Library and the Fort Lee Library, and the Saturday Concert Series in the Closter Library, Ridgewood Library, and many other places.
Ms. Lee is a director and founder of the Music Tree studio in Harrington Park and New City NY as well as a faculty member of the Cresskill Summer Music Program in Cresskill High School. Ms. Suji founded a non profit organization, “Pro Sono” in 2018 https://sujimusictree.wixsite.com/mysite-1 which grants monthly concerts to various nursing homes and hospitals and shares Ms. Suji's students’ talent and love with the community.
